Ned Rumpeltin is the Head of European Currency Strategy. He provides strategic and tactical advice on the currency markets and professional support and guidance on foreign exchange matters for clients, both internal and external.
Prior to joining TD, Ned was the Head of G10 FX Strategy for Standard Chartered Bank. He has held similar roles at Nomura International and Morgan Stanley. Before this, he worked at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. There, he worked in the Global Markets Analysis Division, but also spent several years in other capacities, most notably the Asia and Pacific Department during the Asian financial crisis of the late 1990s.
Ned holds a BA in international relations from Cornell University and a MS in finance from Johns Hopkins University.
